We are very thankful to the then Chairman of ICHR, Prof. Y.Sudershan Rao, for initially supporting this project having appreciated its intrinsic value. We also thank Prof. Arvind P. Jamkhedkar, current Chairman of the ICHR, who is an eminent Archaeologist and Historian too, for having supported this project on behalf of ICHR.

We are specially beholden to Prof. Kumar Ratnam, honourable Member-Secretary of the ICHR for granting us extra time than what was originally stipulated and encouraging us to complete the project. He has been a pillar of support and also a constant source of inspiration in helping reach the current project to its logical conclusion. He is not only an eminent historian, but also a great scholar in various branches of the Indian Knowledge systems.
